TripCache and its developer take your privacy very seriously. TripCache does not collect, transmit or distribute your data.
Your trips, expenses, and any locations you attach to them are stored on your device and, if iCloud is turned on, synced through your own private iCloud account. None of it is sent to the developer or to any third party. TripCache has no accounts and never asks for your name or email address.
Adding a photo is optional. TripCache uses the system photo picker, which lets you choose a photo without giving the app access to your full photo library. The selected photo is resized and re-encoded without embedded metadata, including photo location data, before it is stored with the expense. You can remove it at any time by editing the expense.
Location access is optional. When you choose to add a location to an expense, TripCache requests your current location once, so that you do not have to search for the place manually. That location is stored alongside the expense on your device and in your iCloud account, and is never transmitted to the developer. Location is never accessed in the background. You may decline or revoke access at any time in iOS Settings, and the rest of the app continues to work without it.
Beyond the optional anonymous debugging information provided by Apple, TripCache does not use any analytics tools, tracking technologies or ad frameworks.
